ABMT raised a record breaking $10 million in 2008
We couldn't have done it without you...
Your cup of tea and cake has helped us not only exceed our target but to also raise a recording breaking $10 million! More than 27,000 people took up the challenge across Australia and hosted a morning tea in workplaces, homes, schools, gardens and even under the sea. All money raised from Australia's Biggest Morning Tea will be put to work immediately to help fund the vital Cancer Council's programs of research, support and education.

"The worst thing about having cancer was seeing how it affected everybody around me. I worried about my husband, but especially about my mum. She was brilliant, but I think sometimes coping with cancer is even harder for family than it is for the person who has the disease."
Allanah Falappi, a brave Australian teacher, who was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer at the age of just 28.
