2nd year hosting

Hi all,

This year I will be hosting my 2nd Biggest Morning Tea. Last year was a huge success, with all our family and friends attending to honour my late dad, who passed away in 2021. 

The 2023 morning tea was lovely and filled with yummy foods, fun games and lots of love & laughter. We raised an incredible $4,245.10!

This year for our 2nd year hosting, we want to achieve the same amazing results. 2024 is to honour my dad once again, but also the ones around us who are also affected by cancer. Whether it's affected from cancer directly from knowing my dad, or if they have their own persona experience or family/friends suffering through the dreaded cancer journey as well. 

For us - We have another person to include in this year's morning tea... My beautiful mum. After losing my dad in 2021, you never want to go through the cancer journey ever again. Especially not on such a personal level again. End of 2023, we found out the unfortunate news that my mum now has breast cancer. 

This is not something we ever expected, and if it wasn't for regular checkups, we may not have known for some time. Mum is just as much a fighter as my dad. And being we've been through the cancer journey with my dad already, it has only made us all so much stronger than we were before.

This year we're hosting our morning tea for everyone affected by cancer - But specifically for our event, it is for my dad & now my mum.
