The biggest morning tea, with Bathurst ED!

Hello, 

Did you know around 150,000 Australians are diagnosed with cancer each year and that almost 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. 

Sadly this means, all of us will be impacted by cancer at some point in our lives, and even perhaps many times over. This could be as a family member, carer, friend, professional, partner, colleague or patient.  

Australia's biggest morning tea is a great way to raise necessary funds for the Cancer Council so they can continue to;
- Invest in research that has helped increase cancer survival rates from 49% in the 1980s to 69% today. 
- Provide nurses and trained volunteers who help affected people by providing practical information and support. 
- Fund world leading cancer prevention campaigns. 

Now we understand, many people may not be able to make it to a morning tea in May or June, due to illness, work, study, family and personal commitments, so join us virtually!

OR, on Monday the 3rd of June outside Bathurst Hospital we will wrap up our donations with Little Vintage Blends serving sweet treats and drinks, and a small donation box for those around. 

A little last min opportunity to meet others, share experience over a cuppa, all while raising money through donation for a great cause.

The wonderful team of the Bathurst Hospital Cafe are also offering sweet little vouchers for the tea-rivia posters you may find around or on the online page. 

We also have beautiful little prizes, donated muffins and gear to help the day happen by a few great businesses in the community!

So please, join us for a cup of tea - virtually & donate online to help reach the fundraising goal, or come have a cuppa on Monday the 3rd of June from 0730 onwards! 

Remember - our lovely Daffodil Cottage will also hold their annual “Biggest Morning Tea” so please keep an eye out and support the Daffodil Team for the truly remarkable work they do 💛

Together, we can help Cancer Council raise much needed funds that as stated above, go towards vital cancer research, support services, prevention programs, and advocacy.
