Hi everyone, 

I just held my first time biggest morning tea fundraising event. It was an amazing and fun experience. Thank you to all my friends/ guests who have made the event possible and share their generosity donating to help me raise the fund more than enough my target goal. Together we raised $1861. You are all amazing people. Thank you to everyone who came to the event, helped in preparations, shared the event space, brought some foods to share, shared some stories and made the event a fun moment. We have made indeed some beautiful memories for us to treasure. Thank you for your friendships and sharing your time, love and blessings and may our Almighty God bless you in return.

My Journey with Cancer

Hi everyone,

This month, I will be hosting a Biggest Morning Tea event to fundraise and support people who are impacted by cancer. Being recently diagnosed with cancer, I have received great supports from friends, families, colleagues, school, medical professionals & hospital, etc. and hosting the event is my way of giving back the supports I have received. 

My journey with cancer started 3 months ago. After having surgery, I was diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer and was advised to undergo chemotherapy and immunotherapy as soon as possible. Having cancer has impacted my life & my family so much and it is not easy.  However, with great faith to God Almightly and receiving great supports from others helps us to go on with my journey in positive spirit. I started my treatment 2 months ago and had 3 chemo & immuno therapies so far. I been in & out of the hospital during the treatment due to drug reactions, undergoing different laboratory tests & scans, and rehabilitation or wellness programs. Every treatment sessions impacted my body differently but so far I am thankful that I am doing well recovering from drug reactions and managing the side effects of the treatment. I still have long way to go in my treatment and will always be in positive spirits to hope & look forward to my full recovery. 

I will update the date and location of my event soon and will look forward on you joining me on the day. I would also appreciate every donation you would give to help me raise my goal of $1000 or more. Thank you so much and may God bless you all.
