Hosting a Morning Tea for a Cause: Why We’re Standing With Cancer Council

At Evermore Disability Services, community is at the heart of everything we do.

That’s why this year, we’re proud to be hosting a Cancer Council “Biggest Morning Tea” a small act that we hope will make a meaningful impact in the lives of many. This isn’t just about tea and cake (although there’ll be plenty of that!); it’s about coming together to show support, raise awareness, and fund vital cancer research that touches so many lives.

As a disability support provider, we work every day alongside people who show incredible resilience, compassion, and strength. These are the same values that drive us to participate in initiatives like this. Cancer doesn’t discriminate and the opportunity to stand with families, friends, and community members affected by cancer is one we embrace wholeheartedly.

Our Morning Tea will bring together support workers, participants, families, and local community members to connect, reflect, and give back. Whether it’s through a gold coin donation, sharing a story, or simply showing up, every contribution matters.
